Giveaway Terms & Conditions – Roger’s Birding Hotspots – Instagram Giveaway

1. Promoter Details:
This giveaway is run by Roger’s Birding Hotspots, based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Instagram handle: @rogermacks.bird.photos
2. Eligibility:
Open to individuals aged 18 years or over. Entries are accepted worldwide. Employees, family members, or affiliates directly involved in managing this giveaway are ineligible. This promotion is not affiliated with or sponsored by Instagram or Meta in any way.
3. Entry Method:
To enter the giveaway, participants must (1) watch all three “Colombia Birding Hotspots” videos on the official Roger’s Birding Hotspots YouTube channel, (2) spot the image of Luna (the dog) hidden in each video, and (3) submit the exact timestamps of Luna’s appearances via Instagram DM to @rogermacks.bird.photos. Entries close at 11:59 PM AEST on 30 September 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. Prize Details:
Two winners will be randomly selected. Each winner will receive one (1) fine art photographic print of the beautiful Andean Cock-of-the-rock. Prints are 76.2 cm x 42.9 cm, professionally printed, packaged, and shipped worldwide. International shipping is included at no cost to the winner. Customs duties or import taxes (if applicable) may be charged depending on the winner’s country and are the responsibility of the winner.
5. Winner Selection and Notification:
Winners will be chosen via a random draw from valid entries in early October. Winners will be notified via Instagram DM within 72 hours of the draw. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, a replacement winner will be drawn.
6. General Conditions:
Only one entry per person will be accepted. Any attempts to spam entries, use bots, or falsify timestamps will result in disqualification. Roger’s Birding Hotspots reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition if unforeseen circumstances arise.
7. Privacy:
All personal information provided will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Your contact details will only be used for the purposes of administering this competition and shipping the prize.
8. Applicable Laws:
This giveaway is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. International entrants must ensure their participation complies with local laws and regulations. Roger’s Birding Hotspots is not liable for any breach of local laws by entrants.
